Usage

The dashboard consists of the following dashlets:

  • System Information
  • Queue Status
  • Processed
  • Failed
  • Dropped
  • Sync Summary

The system is configured to store up to 8 time slots, each time slot representing the happings within 60 seconds.

Due to substantial performance improvements implemented in symphony one, you might have to wait up to 60 seconds in order to see results in the dashboard.

Failed and dropped object counts are not reset at all, please consult the log file in case you observe this behavior.

System Information#

Shows the agosense.symphony version and the license type.

Diagnosis Package#

You can find a button above the System Information that will trigger the download of a diagnosis package.

note

Make sure to retrieve a diagnosis package and attach it to any request to the agosense service desk

System Diagnosis#

Shows an indicator for the status of the applications scheduler. If a checkmark is shown, the scheduler is active and working and synchronizations are triggered in the background. The scheduler is started with a delay of one minute to prevent interference with the application startup itself.

Queue Status#

Displays a chart of the synchronization volume during the last n time slots diveded into:

  • Objects
  • Attachments
  • Comments

Processed#

Displays a chart of the number of successfully synchronized objects in the last n time slots.

Failed#

Displays a chart of the number of failed object synchronizations in the last n time slots.

Dropped#

Displays a chart of the number of dropped object synchronization requests in the last n time slots.

warning

The system decides to drop synchronization requests, in case its elastic mechanism detects a system overload. Requests are then dropped in order to prevent the system from getting stuck. If you experience drops make sure to plan an increase of the available system resources.

Sync summary#

Shows the amount of objects, attachments and comments synchronized during the last n time slots.

Sync execution times#

Shows the average execution time of a synchronization, in:

  • overal - The total average execution time per object
  • source - The total average execution time of the source tool
  • target - The total average execution time of the target tool
  • extension - The total average execution time for extions
